This reforming project of the Constitution Square pursues the collaboration and participation of social agents to make it a shared, accessible and universal space.
According to this premise, any citizen must ‘be able to arrive’, ‘be able to enter’, ‘reach objects and manipulate them’, ‘move’ and ‘understand and communicate’
The project, with citizen collaboration, allows the comprehensive elimination of all existing limits and become a new architectural model for the city impregnated with equal opportunities and the participation of people with difficulties on mobility, communication and / or understanding.
We can get it using different textures and colours and aplying an “easy reading” of turist information, incorporating the BRAILLE system for people with blindness as well as by using QR codes to expand the information in audio-written format and signed for people who use sign language.
Project developed in collaboration with the Architect Vanessa Granados Lucena.
